What a difference a week makes.

Just one week ago, I was sitting in a camp chair watching the rain come down. I had a good book, a dry tent, a couple bottles of cheap wine and no cell phone reception. Life was good.

I'm back, however. The vacation was good and relaxing. The return of the daily grind hasn't really gotten to me yet. Eight or nine days without responsibility, electricity or running water does wonders on one's perspectives.

I'd add a few pictures but, despite bringing the camera along, I didn't snap off a single frame. I'm not sure why, it just didn't seem necessary. I went to relax and enjoy myself and did so without feeling the need to immortalize the moment. I'm ok with that.
