Why is it that I always wind up with movies that I really want to see, but just don't feel like watching now?

I'm currently sitting on Rescue Dawn and Mullholland Drive - both of which I've been looking forward to for ages - but I just can't seem to sit myself down and watch them.

Curse you and your taunting, Netflix!

Rescue Dawn was much better

Gotta love Herzog.

Watched Mullholland Drive

Sucked.

Pointlessly creepy secondary characters, check.
Ridiculously overwrought acting, check.
Nearly random change of casting 3/4 of the way through the movie, check.

Sounds like every other David Lynch movie since Dune.

There were a few highlights (the director's story, for example) but otherwise pretty forgettable. Alas.
